Rixton’s Jake Roche Gushes About Little Mix’s Jesy Nelson [EXCLUSIVE]

When we recently chatted with Rixton, we couldn't resist asking frontman Jake Roche about his relationship with Little Mix's Jesy Nelson -- especially with all of the adorable Instagram pics they've been posting recently.

Of course, fans of both groups have been going crazy for the couple -- so much so that fans have devoted Twitter accounts to shipping them. Jake's response? Well, we're pretty sure that three "Amazing!"s in a row means he's pretty psyched about it.

As for how he and Jesy met, Jake says they first bonded while at a show in London.

"We just met through mutual friends," he told PopCrush exclusively. "We did a big show in London together and we just met backstage. And we’ve stayed close ever since."

While Jake told us that the two are "close friends," he couldn't resist complimenting Jesy multiple times -- so cute.

"We love doing karate together," he told us about their favorite activity to do together. "Her brother’s a black belt, so he teaches us. … She's better than me!"

And though the two have yet to hang out together with Jesy's Little Mix bandmate Perrie Edwards and her fiancé Zayn Malik, Jake and his bandmates did get to do something even more awesome: listen to some new Little Mix jams.

"We’ve heard some of their new songs and they sound massive," Jake revealed. "We’re huge fans of theirs."

So… can we expect a Rixton/Little Mix collaboration in the future?

"No, they’re too good. They’re too good for us," he joked. "They’re a lot better than us. Half the time we don’t know what we’re doing!"
