Selena Gomez Delivers Emotional Performance of ‘The Heart Wants What It Wants’ at 2014 AMAs [VIDEO]

'The Heart Wants What It Wants' is Selena Gomez's most heartfelt song to date, and her 2014 American Music Awards performance of the song was just as emotional.

Armed with nothing but a microphone, Selena delivered a bare bones, stripped-down performance that was the perfect setting for the heart-wrenching tune, which she previously confirmed details her relationship with Justin Bieber. Looking as elegant as ever in a flowing, champagne-colored gown, Selena belted out the emotional song with feeling, appearing at times on the verge of tears. But her strength and faith got her through it, even pausing towards the end of the song to close her eyes and thank Jesus.

There's no doubt that it takes some serious courage to bare your soul on stage (and on national television), and Selena did it with class, elegance and some killer talent. Check out her performance in the video above.
