Selena Gomez to Reunite With Former ‘Spring Breakers’ Co-Star on New Project

Selena Gomez is adding yet another huge project to her workload!

Just one month after it was announced that she'll be starring alongside Paul Rudd in the upcoming movie ‘The Revised Fundamentals of Caregiving,’ Selena signed onto yet another film.

E! News reports that Selena will be reuniting with her 'Spring Breakers' co-star James Franco in the movie adaptation of John Steinbeck's 'In Dubious Battle.' The Oscar-nominated actor will both star and direct the film.

Like many of Steinbeck's works, the setting is in California. According to E!, the press release for the movie said it "explores themes Steinbeck continued to develop: group behavior, social injustice, man's inhumanity to man—all themes which continue to be relevant today.

"A labor conflict between migrant apple pickers and the local growers' association is the backdrop against which Jim Nolan (Franco) becomes involved in the labor movement and rapidly matures as he learns what it means to do organizational fieldwork."

The cast reportedly includes Vincent D'Onofrio, Robert Duvall, Ed Harris, Bryan Cranston and Danny McBride.
