There's another new taste of music featuring Miley Cyrus. While our last nugget of new music from the singer/actress was her featured vocal on Borgore's EDM track 'Decisions,' she's doing the same type of featuring, only this time with Snoop Dogg, aka Snoop Lion.

The track is titled 'Ashtrays and Heartbreaks' and it feels like Snoop is the guest on his own song, as Miley takes the lead. However, it's the Lion's track off of his upcoming 2013 album, 'Reincarnated.'

Snoop delivers his lazy raps about smoke in the air (shocker!!) and putting people six feet under, while Cyrus delivers a studio-treated vocal in the bridges and the choruses. She is prominently featured, so much so that it feels like a duet, instead of a Miley vocal dropped somewhere in the middle.

The track, which features production from Major Lazer, is a downtempo, lean-back groover, but it's not a rap anthem nor is it a pop jam. It may or not be indicative of where Miley will go with her RCA Records debut, but one thing is for sure: It's not 'Party in the U.S.A, Part 2.' But then again, it's Snoop's track.

'Ashtrays and Heartbreaks' is more like an ode to those who aren't with us. Some of her vocalizations and delivery are a bit reggae-toned, too.

Miley is certainly drifting further away from 'Hannah Montana' territory. And while Snoop features on so many records from pop's hottest starlets, it's refreshing that the tables are a bit turned here.
