It was a new dawn and a new "Day" when Baltimore waitress Hallie Day performed the standard 'Feeling Good' on tonight's episode (Feb. 29) of 'American Idol,' which marked her live performance debut of Season 11. She turned the classic tune into a bit of a torchy ode and she was almost flaw to the less. The girl can sing and she had some beautiful moments, and her imperfections made her interesting.
Pittsburgh is the city of champions and the Steelers, but it has also spawned a few pop stars like Christina Aguilera and Wiz Khalifa. Additionally, it was the setting for 'American Idol' auditions on the second part of the Season 11 premiere. It's the first time the show has ever camped out in the 'Burgh in its history.
