Taylor Momsen Reportedly Off ‘Gossip Girl’ Cast Next Season

Spotted: A rocking actress, who may have just lost her gig on a hit CW show. According to TV Line, Taylor Momsen will not return to 'Gossip Girl' as a series regular during its fifth season.

In the last season of the young adult drama, Momsen's role as Jenny Humphrey was drastically reduced as she took time off to work on her music career with her band, the Pretty Reckless.

The New York City four-piece released their debut album, 'Light Me Up,' on Feb. 8, and kicked off a 24-date headlining tour just three days later. Momsen is the lead singer and rhythm guitarist for the group.

In November, the 17-year-old actress was reportedly suspended from 'Gossip Girl,' although the CW maintained that she was a series regular with a reduced role because of "creative reasons."

Outside of her role as part of the Upper East Side elite, Momsen has adopted a provocative look and controversial demeanor. The singer appeared on the November/December cover of Revolver in a barely-there outfit slinging a gun over her shoulder, and on Oct. 21, she flashed her breasts to the crowd at a Pretty Reckless concert.
