Entertainment's most PDA-happy couple, Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston, have split, according to TMZ.

The couple — dubbed Hiddleswift by fans and the media alike — decided to end their relationship after a whirlwind three months, though they intend on staying friends, according to anonymous sources at US Weekly.

"They get along great and will remain friends, but they just don't see it working romantically right now," the source said.

Swift and Hiddleston's relationship status became public knowledge when the couple, who reportedly first met back in May during the Met Gala, were photographed together at Rhode Island’s Misquamicut beach -- a mere two weeks after Swift and Calvin Harris called it quits on their 15-month relationship.

The pair were then pictured together ad nauseam for the following two months -- they introduced each other to their respective families early on -- indicating a blissful beginning.

But less than two weeks ago, reports emerged of an alleged argument between the two, inferring a rift in their relationship.

Swift reportedly took issue with Hiddleston’s busy work schedule, which made it difficult for the pair to see each other as often as they had before.

“There was so much going on so it was hard making their schedules work, and they were upset they couldn’t see each other,” an anonymous source told US Weekly at the time.
