ABC chased a less-than-dramatic season of The Bachelor with a major plot twist: Both Britt Nilsson and Kaitlyn Bristowe will be on Season 11 of The Bachelorette.

In the less-than-thrilling season finale, Chris Soules proposed to final contestant Whitney Bischoff. It wasn't until after she said "yes" that the excitement really started. Chris Harrison announced that the show would try the double bachelorette formula at the end of the After the Final Rose special Monday night (March 9). While it's tradition to announce the next Bachelor or Bachelorette during the event, the show has never announced two women vying for the role.

The details are still scarce, but here's what we do know: Britt and Kaitlyn — both candidates on Chris Soules' season of The Bachelor — will begin their quest for love. Us Weekly reports that the men on the show will ultimately choose who earns the title of "Bachelorette."

The show previously tried this formula in 2004 with Byron Velvick and Jay Overbye vying to be the sixth Bachelor. Velvick ultimately won and went on to get engaged to contestant Mary Delgado.

We got a little more information on the upcoming season of The Bachelorette when Britt and Kaitlyn stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night. Well, at least more information on how they plan on dumping the dates that don't work out.

Jimmy asked the women to practice breaking up with him — and they crushed it. Kaitlyn was all about the sincerity, telling the late night host that she was in love with another man. (That the man in question happened to be Jimmy's fellow cast-member Guillermo Rodriguez is another story.)

However, Britt took things to another level, telling Jimmy he was a drama queen and even referencing his long-running faux feud with Matt Damon ... and then she pretended to slap him.

You can watch all of it go down in the video below!
