'The Voice' Season 1 winner Javier Colon is stepping behind the sunglasses formerly worn by Jamie Foxx, who won an Oscar for his efforts. Colon, he of the silky smooth voice, will portray music legend Ray Charles in the 'The Playboy Club,' a new NBC show which offers an insider's look at the lives of Playboy bunnies in the '60s, reports Billboard. So it's like a vintage 'Girls Next Door,' with less breast implants and with Colon ditching his signature baseball cap for a hot minute!

As the late, great Charles, Colon will reportedly sing 'Let the Good Times Roll' in an upcoming episode. Judging from Colon's flawless performances during his season of 'The Voice,' we are incredibly confident that he would nail this song and do the late, great Charles proud. This is a brilliant stroke on the casting director's part.

The songs recorded for the show will be available for purchase post episode, as was the case with 'The Voice' and with 'Glee.' That's a brilliant marketing move if we've ever seen one!
