will.i.am and Jennifer Hudson are the latest stars to join the lineup of the reality series 'Majors & Minors,' which features a dozen aspiring singers between the ages of 10 and 16 receiving guidance from some of the music industry's biggest names as they compete to win a recording contract.

The new additions join a long list of previously announced mentors, including Adam Lambert, Avril Lavigne, Sean Kingston, Mike Posner and Colbie Caillat.

The first episode airs on Friday, Sept. 23 on the Hub TV Network. Singer Brandy will guest star as viewers are shown highlights from the casting process, in which 40,000 hopefuls were narrowed down to the 12 lucky kids who will have the opportunity of a lifetime.

Actually the contestants on 'Majors & Minors' are far from lucky. They were selected by music industry insiders because of their vocal talents, and based on the all-star lineup of mentors, they'll be learning from some of the best.

British tv personality Joby Harte will host the program. The first song from the show, called 'One World' and credited to the Majors & Minors Cast, will be available for purchase on iTunes on Sept. 20, before the show even hits the air.
