Superstar EDM DJ Avicii has canceled all of his scheduled future performances, citing health issues.

The 25-year-old producer's reps confirmed to Billboard that he has pulled out of all forthcoming tours and promotional activities due to his health. Earlier this year, Avicii had both his gallbladder and appendix removed.

The surgeries had already affected his ability to perform at Ultra Music Festival as well as his planned Las Vegas residencies in April.

The site reports that Avicii (aka Tim Bergling) will be recovering in his home city of Stockholm before heading back into the studio next year to work on his second album.

Avicii released his first major studio album, 'True,' in 2013 which included such hits as 'Wake Me Up' with Aloe Blacc, 'You Make Me' and 'Hey Brother.'

In July, Avicii revealed that he plans to work with rock artists for his next album, including Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong, Coldplay’s Chris Martin and Jon Bon Jovi.
