Beyonce Glows on Cover of September InStyle; Wears Snakes as Accessories

Beyonce absolutely glows on the cover of the September issue of InStyle. She rocks Dolce & Gabbana on the cover shot and the interview talks about her ambition and her drive, as well as motherhood. But we were most intrigued by the behind-the-scenes video, where Bey is accessorized with snakes.

She's not ripping a page out of Britney Spears' VMAs book with the reptilian accoutrements. The lucky reptiles crawl on her and are wrapped around her wrists like a bracelet in one scene. "B" is for "brave" as much as it is for "Beyonce." You can watch that clip below. There is no snake charmer as beautiful as Beyonce, who has been a frequent magazine cover girl this summer as she promotes '4.'

As for her chat with InStyle? Beyonce talks about her quick ascent to adulthood as she was so determined to launch her career. Beyonce said, "I sacrificed so much as a kid and as a teenager. I have no regrets because my job kept me focused. When you're young -- 18 or 19 -- you have the energy and drive. That’s the time to work as hard as you can. Now I'm a woman, and because I gave it my all, I can focus on my marriage."

She also mentioned the "c" word, too. As in "children," saying, I can decide I want to have kids. I can be the mother I want to be and dedicate myself to my children." Since "Beyonce is preggers" stories pop up in the gossip rags with great frequency, you get it from the horse's mouth here.

In the limited free time that she has, the Queen B admits she plops on the couch and rocks a little reality TV. "I have to confess that my guilty pleasure is 'Jersey Shore,'" she said.

She is also proud to empower women and share her life with them. No cattiness here. She admitted, "I am a girl’s girl. Women who don’t have female friends scare me. I love my friends, and I love sitting with them and listening to their stories." Bey probably gives great advice, not to mention that enviable closet that friends want to rummage through.

The September issue of InStyle lands on Friday.

Oh, and indulge in the video for more than the slithery creatures. We see Bey in a dangerously short gold dress, having her luxe locks attended to. We also see her glistening and shimmery during the shoot. There is no interview footage; the shots do all the talking and at quite the volume. Sultry!
