It looks like Lea Michele will be in good company on 'Glee' next season. Chris Colfer, who portrays fellow McKinley High graduating senior Kurt, will return for season four.

What makes the news even more exciting? Rumor has it Grant Gustin -- whose character (Warbler Sebastian Smythe) tried to steal Blaine (Darren Criss) away from Kurt -- will also sign on as a regular. Bring on the love triangle!

Colfer spoke to the Insider (via Radar Online) regarding his return to the series. "Yes. I'm coming back," Colfer said.  "I'm very excited."

Also excited for his own rumored recurring role is Gustin, though he was careful to note that nothing is set in stone yet. "Thanks for all the congrats but this news is not official as of yet," Gustin tweeted. "I would love to be sticking around. I'll be waiting for official word."

Fans can breathe a heavy sigh of relief. Since Colfer's character, Kurt (as well as Michele's Rachel Berry and Cory Monteith's Finn) is a graduating senior, rumors of a spinoff for the McKinley High soon-t0-be-alumni swirled through Hollywood. Those were shot down, and now a new idea is in store -- but the cast has remained mum on exactly what it is.

"A lot of people are sad there won’t be a spinoff but I think they're going to be very very excited to find out what's in store," Colfer said of his role in the Fox hit. "I'm very excited by it. Ryan's idea is kind of revolutionary," he enthused. "It's the best of both worlds. Everyone is going to like it."

With this kind of news, we can't wait for the show to come back from hiatus. Come on, Jan. 17!
