The apartment itself is super modern, with very clean lines throughout. It looks near-immaculate, which is exactly what we expected it would be. According to the director, Sam Taylor-Johnson, the apartment is mean to serve as a juxtaposition to Ana's world. She said in the video above, "Christian Grey's apartment was quite phenomenal as a set. It's important to feel Ana's world — the sweet, charming existence, and then Christian's world, a huge, voluminous apartment."
