Even before his hilarious stint on 'Saturday Night Live,' Coldplay's Chris Martin made us giggle -- by dancing with Jimmy Fallon on the comedian's late-night talk show.

Fallon began the segment by lamenting on his own poor dance moves. "I used to go to England to learn how to dance," Fallon said, "I didn't want to dance in America in case someone recognized me. I went to England where no one knows who I am at all, and I would try to dance and do different things." Fallon went on, "This one guy was doing this thing -- he was on his tiptoes! So I come back to America, and I'm like, 'I'm gonna try out this tiptoe dance.' And immediately, everyone was like, 'Stop doing that.'"

Fallon then turned the attention on his guest. "Are you a dancer?" The sheepishly charming Martin replied, "I used to be able to do the caterpillar when I was 10, and my best friend Phil told me to stop doing it at parties -- the same kind of thing," he laughed.

Fallon was fascinated. "Wait, would you stop the party and be like, 'Alright, I gotta do the caterpillar!' And you'd just do the worm?" Martin replied, "All singers are attention seekers, and it was before I was in the band. I was like, 'I've got to do something to make that girl look over here! I'm gonna do the worm!'"

This sparked an idea in the physical comedy-loving Fallon. "Can you do the worm now? If you do it, I'll do it! Come on!" Fallon could barely contain his excitement. "We'll do it from here to the camera!"

While initially hesitant, Martin agreed to wiggle alongside Fallon across the wooden stage floor. "This is really happening," he laughed. Yes, it happened -- and we're glad it did!
