Enrique Iglesias Performs Medley of ‘Dirty Dancer’ and ‘I Like It’ on Tonight’s ‘American Idol’

Enrique Iglesias, who just announced a fall tour with Pitbull and Prince Royce, spiced up the 'American Idol' stage tonight with his Latin pop flavor and flair, and performed a medley that featured his brand new single 'Dirty Dancer' as well as his uber-smash hit, 'I Like It.'

Let's face it -- Iglesias oozes sexuality when he sings, and tonight was no different. Draped entirely in black with a green laser light show behind him, he sang the first half of the percussive 'Dirty Dancer' before pausing and launching right into the mega hit, 'I Like It.' Iglesias engaged the crowd for the second song, since it's his summery, stadium anthem, and singalongs are required and mandatory. His falsetto sounded a little higher than normal in the live setting, but the kids in the crowd -- who were jumping up and down and singing with Iglesias -- didn't seem to care, because they were too busy having the time of their lives.

Like the consummate performer, Iglesias told the crowd, "'You are amazing, 'American Idol'" before wrapping up his set. We guess it can be called a "set" since he technically did two songs, even if it was just a mash-up of two of his tunes.

We have to wonder if his longtime gal pal, former tennis ace Anna Kournikova, was watching as Iglesias set hearts aflutter and made America swoon with his heatseeking show.
