The children of Staten Island choir PS22 are known for their adorable covers of pop songs, but they're going to touch a lot more hearts with their latest performance. In a new video, the choir performs the official school song of Sandy Hook Elementary School in remembrance of the 20 first-graders and six staff members who were killed during the school shooting there on Dec. 14.

The kids begin singing, "Three cheers for the green and the white / At Sandy Hook School forever," revealing the harmonies that have made their choir so popular. Have some tissues handy as you watch, especially at the end when the kids offer their own personal messages for the victims.

The tribute from the fourth- and fifth-grade students is especially touching since Staten Island suffered a catastrophe of its own last month when Hurricane Sandy roared through.
