Miike Snow, Day Wave + More: Here’s Who’s Performing at SXSW 2016

Texas is about to get a little less lone star.

More than two-dozen buzzworthy acts have been announced as 2016 SXSW Festival performers and will play for festival-goers through a three-day StubHub showcase, StubHub announced yesterday (February 22). From March 16 to March 18, the likes of PopCrush favorites Miike Snow, Day Wave and more will take the stage at Austin's Banger’s Sausage House & Beer Garden. Performers will hail from as far as Sweden and Australia and perform electropop, bluegrass and more.

"Building off all our success here last year, we're excited to go even bigger and better in 2016, bringing more unique performances from emerging and global acts to fans and industry colleagues," StubHub spokesman Justin Finn said, according to a statement.

SXSW, which annually hosts performances, showcases and panel discussions for emerging musicians, filmmakers and tech savants, will officially kick off on March 11 and wrap up on March 20.
