Zooey Deschanel Ditches Wedding Ring for TV Guide Hot List Party

Zooey Deschanel attended TV Guide's Hot List party on Nov. 7, and the She & Him vocalist walked the red carpet without her wedding ring.

Deschanel's appearance at the party marks one of her first since splitting with her husband of two years, Death Cab for Cutie frontman Ben Gibbard. According to a source, the couple parted ways on "mutual and amicable" terms, so it's no wonder why the 'New Girl' starlet appeared to be in a positive state of mind at the event.

Although there's a lot of buzz about the fact that Deschanel went stag to the party without her diamond wedding ring, we noticed that she wasn't wearing the band when she sang the National Anthem at a World Series game either. We don't want to ignite any rumors, but since Deschanel always used to rock the diamond, we have a hunch this marriage was over long before the songstress and Gibbard announced the news publicly.

Wearing a navy blue cocktail dress with a tiered skirt, Deschanel looked gorgeous as usual. She kept her bubbly, happy demeanor in check at the party, and it was nice to see that the singer / actress is doing alright since her breakup. We wish her nothing but the best!
