Avril Lavigne to Make Fan Mash Up Video for ‘Wish You Were Here’

Here's some awesome news for Avril Lavigne fans! The pop punker is giving fans a chance to be in her new video for 'Wish You Were Here.'

Lavigne partnered with Audish to let visitors create a mash up for her latest single from Goodbye Lullaby. Fans can upload their karaoke-style videos via webcams or smartphone apps to create their own personal duet with the Canadian commodity -- and Lavigne herself will choose the grand prize winner from the finalists. The lucky victor will be flown to Miami to meet the singer and see her perform live.

The contest is only the latest in a recent flurry of activity for Ms. Abbey Dawn. Lavigne recently returned to Epic Records following lackluster sales of 'Goodbye Lullaby' through RCA and is slated to perform at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Lavigne is no stranger to duets and mash ups. She worked with Lil Mama on her 'Girlfriend' remix, and she recently featured on a duet with band mate and long time bestie Evan Taubenfeld. Lavigne was sampled by none other than Rihanna on 'Cheers (Drink to That)'.

If you want to enter, there's still time -- but you better hurry and step your game up! So far, over 1,500 mash ups have been uploaded. The deadline for submissions is Dec. 1.
