Celebrities use Instagram as a way of staying connected, reaching out and -- we'll admit it -- showing off. From the food they eat to their famous friends, they're obsessed with all things photo-op, so it only makes sense that we'd have to compile a list of the best Instagrammers. See some of the nominee highlights below.

Boy-bander Harry Styles has perfected the art of false-pretension -- usually refusing to post selfies, but constantly delivering in black-and-white photos of bananas. Then there's his bandmate, Liam Payne, who does deliver on the selfies, keeping fans happy each time.

If videos are more your thing, be sure to follow 5 Seconds of Summer's Ashton Irwin. If you could rent out his videos from Blockbuster, he could have singlehandedly kept the franchise in business.

Beyonce gives us a much desired look into her personal life via her Instagram, posting photos that vary from intimate family shots to badass performance images. Speaking of personal, Taylor Swift makes us feel more like her bestie than ever with her Instagram. Those photos clearly aren't professional -- which is why we love them so much.

Kim Kardashian, on the other hand, is the queen of the curated selfie, while Katy Perry only posts once in a blue moon (but we're always waiting for more). Miley Cyrus, on the other hand, is a serial-poster -- someone who posts 10 images in a row when she's out. We all have that one friend.

Then there's teen heartthrob Austin Mahone, letting fans in on his life, and Justin Bieber, who has a tendency to post photos and clear up rumors via Instagram.

Lucy Hale and Selena Gomez both stay beautiful on their feeds, while Karlie Kloss shows us just how many cookies a model can eat while staying that thin (hint: it's a lot). Mindy Kaling lets us in on her wardrobe choices and posts quite a few photos of her co-workers -- not that we mind. Chris Messina is totally dreamy.
