As Katy Perry would say, 'TGIF!' The weekend is almost here, and in order to celebrate the two days of freedom most Americans have every seven days, we are taking votes for the Best Weekend Song. While there are plenty of pop songs about partying, there are a select few that pay direct tribute to Friday night, Saturday and Sunday, including tracks from Rihanna, Ludacris and Ms. Perry.

Kicking off our list of weekend songs is the Black Eyed Peas' old-school tune 'Weekend' with Esthero, where they sing with great anticipation about living it up in the club on Friday and Saturday night. Then there's Perry's 'Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.),' a song about partying to the Nth degree and, despite some regretful decisions, continuing to have a blast by getting tipsy with friends on the weekend. Ludacris' 'Saturday' pays tribute to the lackadaisical days and fun-filled nights of that day, while Montell Jordan's 'This Is How We Do It' is your quintessential weekend song about great times with great friends on Friday nights.

Neon Trees also dropped a weekend song in 2012, the appropriately titled 'Weekend,' a feel-good song about letting your cares go during your days of freedom. R. Kelly's remix to 'Ignition' -- which is "hot and fresh out the kitchen," if you didn't know already -- is about hitting the dance floor and having fun on the "freakin' weekend." Of course, we also had to include Rebecca Black's hilarious earworm 'Friday,' in which she recounts every day of the week leading up to her favorite.

Rihanna's 'Cheers (Drink to That)' is another weekend song about libations and raising a glass up to celebrate with friends. And finally, there's Skrillex's dubstep/hip-hop track 'WEEKENDS!!!,' which, if you can from the title, is a very energetic jam to get your blood pumping for Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
