Beyonce Is Launching Record Label and New Boy Band

Beyonce is with child, but the modern career woman in her won't allow her stop to take a breath or to put her feet up or to relax while Jay-Z waits on her hand and foot. Instead, Bey is rolling full steam and full speed ahead.

She is continuing to promote '4' and is attending to her newest fragrance and House of Dereon launches. But that's not all. She is starting her own label and hopes to create a boy band, too. Beyonce as music industry boy band Svengali? Yes, it's true.

In an interview with the Associated Press (via That Grape Juice) Beyonce opened up about her career goals, especially since she started to manage herself after splitting with her "dadager" Mathew earlier this year. "I am still working on balance and still growing," she admitted. "I am starting my company, my label. I want to create a boy band. I want to continue to produce and do documentaries and music videos. I eventually want to start directing for other artists. Once I know that I have my stuff together and I trust that, I can do it for other artists."

Wow, that's a whopping check list of things she wants to accomplish but this is Beyonce we are talking about. She has superpowers, it seems. Bey, who is vocal about her views on female empowerment, said she is inspired by the men she sees in the entertainment business. "I see so many male artists building these empires and passing their knowledge on to other artists and development," she said. She obviously has a bird's eye view of this, being married to the hip-hop guru and talent finder that is Jay-Z, who unearthed a little artist you may have heard of named Rihanna!

She continued, "I see myself doing the same thing and hopefully other younger artists when they grow up and they have been around for 15, 20 years, they can do the same thing." Beyonce can take artists under her wing and nurture them, just as she will her forthcoming first baby!
