Long live the Queen Bey! Beyonce wowed the crowd at her live 'I Was Here' performance at the United Nations. Is anyone surprised?

Beyonce stunned in two different white dresses. One was a knee-length, semi-business style dress with a deep V-neck and a high front slit, as seen in candid photos with fans and press. For her rollicking performance of the power ballad, however, Beyonce donned a fitted, beaded floor length white gown with a cutout neckline and long sleeves as she stood in front of a starry backdrop.

During her performance, which lucky spectators described as "flawless" and "breathtaking," the screens surrounding Beyonce flashed with images of humanitarian aid in honor of World Humanitarian Day. Filmed in one take, Beyonce's rollicking 'I Was Here' will be released on Aug. 19 in hopes of reaching 1 billion people.

Bey even impressed industry vets with her performance. Songwriter Diane Warren tweeted about the event, lavishing praise on the proud mama of Blue Ivy:

Aside from her vocal prowess, Bey met up with Do Something Award winners and also gave a brief but touching address to those who lost their lives in the Iraq bombing of 2003 as well as to those who dedicate their lives to bettering the world everyday. We think Beyonce's wide net of philanthropic work should maybe keep Harry Belafonte quiet for a little while.
