‘Glee’ Recruits New Cheerios for Season 3

With just a month-and a-half left until 'Glee' Season 3 kicks into full gear, more details are leaking about what we can expect from the fresh, new season.

While Santana, Brittany and Quinn once ruled the school as Cheerios cheerleaders under Sue's direction, they developed soft hearts in Season 2 and decided to devote all of their time to the New Directions glee club.

Unfortunately for Sue, that left a gaping hole in her squad. No matter -- she'll be getting two new minions to boss around come fall semester. According to Teen.com, Sugar, who is "rich, cocky and a terrible singer" and Sheila, a "modern-day Joan Jett with tons of tats" are on the script for the third season.

Sounds interesting enough, but with football star Sam (Chord Overstreet) off the 'Glee' roster, those new cheerleaders will need an athlete to root for. A big new linebacker named Bubba will fill the empty spot on the team -- and also Mercedes' heart in Sam's absence.

We can't wait to see what else Ryan Murphy has up his sleeve for Season 3, though we hope he doesn't change too much! Season 3 of 'Glee' starts on Sept. 20.
