Kim Kardashian sparked an Internet-wide debate last week when a photo she posted forced many to consider the following question quite loudly: Are nude selfies all that empowering?

The answer, it turns out, depends on the person. Regardless, Kim has the right to make her own choices, as any grown woman should, without the rest of the world weighing in with unprompted criticism. Certain celebrities (Chloe G Moretz, Piers Morgan, Pink) disagree, and they feel Kim's actions are irresponsible. But others (Ariel Winter and Amber Rose are among her supporters), defended the reality star publicly against the naysayers, and it was a gesture not lost on Kim.

Ariel Winter posted a photo to Instagram of a bouquet of white roses (check that out above) Kim sent her as a gesture of thanks.

“Hey I wanted you to know I saw your tweets last week and I really appreciate your support,” Kim noted in an accompanying hand-written letter. “Women supporting other women is so powerful!"

Emily Ratajkowski also received flowers from Kim after she, too, took a public stand in defending her right to nude-selfie.

"Thank you for the beautiful flowers and note @kimkardashian. It's so important that we let women express their sexuality and share their bodies however they choose," Emily wrote in a caption. "'Merely external emancipation has made of the modern woman an artificial being. Now, woman is confronted with the necessity of emancipating herself from emancipation, if she really desires to be free.' Emma Goldman."

May the exhausting conversation surrounding this topic never end.
