Lena Dunham has been a vocal supporter of Hillary Rodham Clinton throughout the 2016 election, and she's among Donald Trump's many celebrity critics. This Halloween, Dunham chose to make her feelings on Trump's controversial, sexist remarks made to Billy Bush in 2005 clear with a creative costume: She dressed as a "grabbed pussy."

"Happy Halloween! With love from a Grabbed Pussy by the very tolerant @jenna_wb," Dunham captioned the Instagram photo of her getup, ostensibly crediting podcast producer Jenna Weiss-Berman with creating the look, which consisted of a cat costume and two strategically-placed grabby hands.

In case you've been lucky enough to have been in a coma-like sleep for the past few months of this campaign cycle, Dunham's inspiration was a leaked recording of a conversation between Trump and Access Hollywood's then-host Billy Bush from 2005, which was shared by the Washington Post on October 7. Trump suggested to Bush that he'd leveraged his fame to engage in nonconsensual behavior toward women he found desirable, at one point saying, "And when you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything…grab them by the pussy. You can do anything." The GOP presidential candidate defended his remarks as "locker room banter" in a statement.
