America saved Tony Lucca for Team Adam Levine on 'The Voice,' so Katrina Parker and Mathai had to perform for the save on tonight's (April 24) elimination episode. Levine ended up choosing Parker after a long, drawn out speech about his love for both of them and their talents, therefore ending Mathai's run on the show. So Lucca and Parker will represent Team Adam in the semis next week.

Levine pretty much set up Lucca for success by having him turn in a rock version of a Britney Spears hit. It was a brilliant and strategic move, as the American voting public responded by sending him up to the next round.

Mathai performed 'Cowboy Casanova' by Carrie Underwood for the save, embracing her hillbilly side. It was cute and sassy.

Parker, looking like Adele again with her pretty face, full figure and thick, blonde locks, performed Pink's 'Perfect.' She really has a gorgeous voice, coming out and singing like a human tornado.

Both Blake Shelton and Christina Aguilera suggested Levine save Katrina, but Cee Lo dissented and said Mathai deserved to move forward.

Ultimately, Parker earned Levine's save because she has demonstrated more depth and growth along the way, especially when he never thought she'd get this far. While that might seem like a backhanded compliment, it's emblematic of what's right with the show, which is the fostering of pure, raw talent.
