Zayn Malik's departure from One Direction has been official for a while now, but today brings another stinging reminder. Modest Management have updated 1D's artist profile page with a Zayn-less band portrait. Count to four with the photo above. The lengthy description of the band has also been updated to remove any mention of Zayn.

We previously saw updated On The Road Again tour posters with Zayn sadly cropped out.

There is one bright side to all of this: The site confirms that the newly minted foursome began work on their fifth studio album in April and plan to have it released by the end of 2015.

Rumors swirled on Twitter last week that One Direction left Modest — which would have made fans petitioning to buy 1D from the management team very happy — but this recent news firmly debunks them. For those #Directioners still holding out hope that the band will someday be whole again, Niall Horan revealed that he's invited golf buddy Rory McIlroy to join the boys onstage and sing with them during a late-summer tour stop in Boston.
