Selena Gomez Raps Nicki Minaj’s ‘Super Bass’ Live in Concert
Selena Gomez is an admitted fan of Nicki Minaj, and she proved it by nailing a verse from the rapper's hit song 'Super Bass' during her Aug. 21 tour stop in Hershey, Pa.
The 19-year-old was videotaped showing off her impressive lyrical flow on stage to a huge crowd at Hershey Park. She's shown wearing a sleek hoodie, which is part of her extensive tour wardrobe.
This isn't the first time Gomez has flaunted her 'Super Bass' skills. The singer/actress posted a video of herself tackling the song backstage at the 2011 People's Choice Awards while wearing a light pink gown.
"Doing my best Nicki Minaj rap, what do you think?" she wrote with in the description of her video. The clip has since amassed over 11 million views, so it's no wonder why the Texas native was confident enough to perform it in front of thousands on stage.
The 'Love You Like a Love Song' singer is surrounded by rap lovers. BFF Taylor Swift spit out a verse of 'Super Bass' on 107.5 The River, and has covered Eminem's 'Lose Yourself' on her Speak Now tour. Gomez's boyfriend, Justin Bieber, is also known for his swagger, demonstrating his rap skills on Chris Brown's 'Ladies Love Me' track and as his rap alter ego Shawty Mane.
