Selena Gomez is facing a challenge in her new role in 'Spring Breakers': Acting drunk!

The drinking part is what Gomez finds the toughest. She dished to E! Online, "I've watched tons of movies," she said. "It'll be a real challenge for me because it is completely opposite for me."

Gomez is set to begin filming for the edgy Harmony Korine project any minute now. The flick's premise is a far cry from any of Sel's previous work: four college girls end up in jail after robbing a restaurant in order to pay for their spring break plans. A drug and arms dealer bails them out, but at what cost?

Granted, Gomez's character is possibly the least bad of the bunch, a part in which her squeaky clean image likely came in handy. ”She’s the little more tamed down character but also still gets a little crazy here and there,” Gomez revealed. “She goes on spring break with her girlfriends and they end up getting into a whole mess of things. They’re partying and drinking. We end up in jail.”
