On tonight’s (Feb. 27) episode of ‘American Idol,’ Arkansas native Rachel Hale charmed the judges with her passionate delivery of Grace Potter and the Nocturnals’ ‘Nothing but the Water.’ She showcased a bold, self-assured side of herself yet still managed to be the same cheerful, humble and endearing girl we all know and love.
Grace Potter and the Nocturnals
While the web is abuzz with talk of Cee Lo Green uncomfortably hitting on Kelly Rowland during an upcoming episode of his 'Talking to Strangers' show, this week's episode featured on-the-rise rock goddess Grace Potter of Grace Potter and the Nocturnals as the guest. Is it just us or does Potter look a little bit like an earthier Heidi Klum?
Last night, June 27, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals rocked the stage at Ives Concert Park in Danbury, Conn., sharing the bill with reggae, funk, hip-hop fusion outfit Michael Franti and Spearhead. Stepping out in a black-and-white striped mini-dress, fringed black vest and metallic wedge heels, Potter led her band through a set list of new and old songs.
When it comes to serious rock n' roll infused musical goodness, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals don't mess around. In the band's latest single, 'Paris (Ooh La La),' Potter brings us more of that sexy sass that first put the band's name on the map -- and will hopefully put the Nocturnals onto the Top 40 charts.
