Nicole Scherzinger is in the hot seat. She was the ultimate puppet master behind last night's controversial and shocking elimination of Rachel Crow on 'X Factor.' She had the tie-breaking judge's vote and chose to send it to deadlock, effectively not offering a vote. When that happens, the contestant with the lowest amount of votes goes home automatically.

Poor Nicole Scherzinger. The 'X Factor' judge and former Pussycat Doll has been trying for nearly six years to put out an album, only to have it delayed time and time again. Just when it looked like her solo debut 'Killer Love' was finally going to see the light of day, the Hollywood Reporter says the record has been pushed back until 2012.
In between bursting into impromptu renditions of 'I Will Always Love You' mid-judging on 'X Factor' and promoting her new single 'Try With Me,' Nicole Scherzinger is managing to keep busy. The repackaged version of her debut album, 'Killer Love,' was released Nov. 14 in the U.K., and a revamped version is due out in the United States on Dec. 6.
Nicole Scherzinger is further deepening her connection to the 'X Factor' brand. While the Scherz is a judge on the nascent American version, she crossed the pond to perform on the U.K. version of the show on Sunday night (Oct. 30). Nicole tore through her latest single 'Try With Me,' dressed head-to-toe in black.
