The Wanted to Release ‘Chasing the Sun’ as Next Single

The Wanted are on a roll! Shortly after dropping 'Gold Forever,' the follow-up to their platinum-selling single 'Glad You Came,' the quintet (informally) announced their next record release. Band member Tom Parker tweeted that the new single will be 'Chasing the Sun' and it's due to drop on April 17.

Apparently, Parker went rogue when he spilled the beans, posting: "I don’t think I’m supposed to announce this but s---," according to Ryan Seacrest. The revelatory tweet was not easily locatable on Parker's feed.

Parker may have gotten a bit of a wrist slap from his fellow bandmates and /or the group's management team and label personell for jumping the gun and tweeting the information about the single. But he put the band's legion of dedicated, screaming and largely female fans first, so they can't fault him for that.

So keep bringing us new singles -- we merely want more of The Wanted.
