The Wanted Enter PopCrush’s Sound Off Hall of Fame With ‘Glad You Came’

The Wanted are officially the newest members in PopCrush's Sound Off Hall of Fame! Although the Brits are still newcomers here in the States, all that is changing pretty quickly as their breakout hit 'Glad You Came' continues to climb the charts (you can buy 'Glad You Came' on iTunes by clicking here) -- and finds them defeating challenger after challenger (for four weeks straight) in our Sound Off series!

The Wanted found their first competitor in Chris Brown's 'Turn Up the Music,' however Team Breezy is no match for fans of the Wanted, since the guys came out on top after a close, heated battle. In the following round, the Wanted took on Madonna and her new single 'Give Me All Your Luvin'.' Although Queen Madge is one of pop's leading icons, the Wanted defeated her with more than 64% of fan votes.

More recently, the Eurodance-inspired club anthem 'Glad You Came' took on Katy Perry's brand-new kiss off anthem 'Part of Me.' Once again, after a week of the numbers rising and falling, the Wanted's fans took their boys to the top again with more than half of the overall votes.

Finally, the Wanted's 'Glad You Came' went head-to-head with soulful songstress Adele and her newest '21' single 'Rumour Has It.' Now Adele might've just won six Grammys, but she was booted from the competition after the Wanted garnered more than 86% of the votes from listeners/readers.

Congratulations to Max George, Siva Kaneswaran, Jay McGuiness, Tom Parker and Nathan Sykes of the Wanted! The guys are now members of the PopCrush Sound Off Hall of Fame along with Adam Lambert, Dev, Kelly Clarkson plus more!

If their wins are any indication of where the Wanted's career is headed, they could very well reach superstar status in the U.S. like fellow boy banders 'N Sync or the Backstreet Boys -- with a more updated wardrobe and better hairdos (we're looking at you, Ramen-haired Justin Timberlake) of course!
