Wondering what time to plant on your couch for the 2012 Grammys? We’ve got you covered for Music’s Biggest Night!
The actual 54th Annual Grammy Awards ceremony will begin airing on Sun., Feb. 12 at 8PM ET on CBS, so be sure to have your popcorn ready! However, the Grammy website allows music fans to stream numerous other related events live. For the fashionistas, the red carpet kicks off at 3PM ET and lasts until 5PM ET. The Grammy pre-telecast overlaps with the red carpet and begins at 4PM ET until 6:30PM ET.
Based on the hilarious promos featuring Taylor Swift, Nicki Minaj and host LL Cool J, we were already stoked to watch the ceremony — but there are a slew of other reasons to tune in. Aside from simply finding out who wins what (and the competition is truly fierce this year), the performances will absolutely be the talk of the water cooler for days.
Katy Perry (in her first post-split television appearance), Kelly Clarkson, Coldplay and Rihanna, Swift and Bruno Mars are all slated to perform at the annual ceremony, but the most highly anticipated show is absolutely the triumphant return of Adele. She’s up for six awards, including Song of the Year, Record of the Year and Album of the Year — and she’s expected to sweep them all.
