Wale's ambitions has finally paid off for him. The D.C.'s rhyme-slinger's second album, 'Ambition,' premiered at No. 2 on the latest Billboard 200 album chart. The set moved 164,000 copies in its first week of release.

Not bad for a guy who two years ago was dropped by Interscope Records after his debut LP 'Attention Deficit' was a commercial failure (it only sold 28,000 units in its first week). Now with songs like 'Lotus Flower Bomb' (featuring Miguel) getting radio love and the streets embracing his anthemic title track, it looks like Wale has become a major player in the rap game.

Wale's 'Ambition' will most likely drop in sales next week, especially, since Drake's second LP 'Take Care' will hit stores on Tuesday. The Maybach Music Group artist revealed to Rap-Up that he and Drake recorded a song together. “Me and Drizzy do have something coming,” he teased.

Since their collaboration, Wale hopes to put together a major hip-hop tour featuring himself, Drake and fellow rapper J. Cole. "I told Drizzy about it," he tells Rap-Up. "I said, ‘Yo, me, you, and Cole should do a tour.' I don’t care if I gotta go first. I’m all about the f---ing culture. This is gonna be like the 'Hard Knock Life' tour of our generation.”
