There has been a lot of controversy surrounding the new documentary, Leaving Neverland, which details the stories of two men who accuse Michael Jackson of sexually abusing them as children. Staunch supporters, as well as family and those who were close to him, do not believe accusers Wade Robson and James Safechuck's graphic stories about how the King of Pop molested and manipulated them when they were young. The latest to diminish their claims is Aaron Carter, who was close to Jackson when he was a teenager and has admitted to sleeping in his bedroom.

The pop star became irate when a Twitter handle posing to be Robson, which ended up being fraudulent, tried to pull him into the drama. He chatted with TMZ Live to denounce Robson's story and declare he wanted to punch him in the face.

“You’re lucky I’ve got something to lose, because I would punch you in your face. And then maybe I’d ask you, ‘Hey, are you tellin’ the truth?’ but I would punch you in your face first, because what you’re doing is you’re stomping on someone’s grave who was there for you," he threatened. "How am I supposed to understand that when my own experience [with Michael] was gentle and beautiful and loving and embracing, and that was it?”

Carter's biggest problem with Robson and Safechuck's stories is the timing. Both men testified on Jackson's behalf during his first child molestation case in 1993. Robson also testified during the 2003 trial; however, Safechuck refused.

“When Michael Jackson was alive, you [were] backing him, you [were] up his ass, you [were] kissing his ass, you [were] there to testify for him under oath, and then when he dies you decide that’s a good time to come out?" Carter said, directing his anger at Robson. When asked if he thought it was possible the victim may have had a hard time speaking out at a younger age, the singer didn't see it feasible. “I just feel like, why not do it when he was alive, man?" he questioned. "Why not do it when he was being accused of all these molestation charges? Why not do it then, and actually indict a perpetrator?”
