Marvel just unveiled the first full-length trailer for their upcoming Ant-Man movie, and if you weren't excited to see the pint-sized superhero before, you probably are now.

We'll give you a quick rundown of what to expect, just in case you're going into this totally blind because you weren't a nerd in high school. The movie stars Paul Rudd as Scott Lang (aka Ant-Man) and Michael Douglas as inventor Hank Pym. Pym asks Lang's character to be part of an experiment that shrinks Lang down to the size of an ant (hence the title) once he dons a special suit. He then has superhuman strength and speed and is, naturally, able to defeat any enemies that pose a threat against him. When you're super tiny and super strong, you become a pretty small target that's impossible to hit. Make sense?

The trailer also shows us the movie's villain, Yellowjacket, for the first time, whereas before fans were only shown a brief glimpse of his costume.

Director Peyton Reed sat down with Entertainment Weekly and said of the superhero, "Ant-Man is very fast when he’s small. Also, when he shrinks, he increases his density, so he’s got increased strength.” He also has the ability to speak to and control ants, which probably doesn't sound like the greatest power in the world but considering the fact that ants are insanely strong, it seems like a worthy skill to have.

The movie is scheduled for a July 17 release, so get stoked if you aren't already. And be sure to check out the trailer in the video above!
