Former 'High School Musical' star Ashley Tisdale just got engaged to musician Christopher French, and the rocker slipped a rock of a different sort on her finger.

The actress and singer, 28, was snapped at the InStyle Summer Soiree in West Hollywood earlier this week, where she debuted some sparkler.

So not only was French's proposal incredibly romantic – he popped the question atop the Empire State Building in NYC -- but he certainly knows how to pick an eye-popping piece of jewelry. There are no question that Tisdale is off the market. That ring screams, "I'm taken!"

It really is a large and stunning piece of jewelry. We bet that Tisdale can' stop staring at it. We wouldn't be able to, either.

Congrats again to the happy couple! They really are a handsome pair.
