Netflix has renewed Black Mirror for a fifth season.

The news comes accompanied by a short teaser video riffing on acclaimed Season 2 episode, "Be Right Back," featuring a wall of TV screens displaying past footage before cutting to said title. "The future will be brighter than ever," Netflix captioned the tweet.

As of yet, though, that's where the details end. The streaming giant has yet to reveal when the renowned sci-fi anthology might return or how many episodes will be included, and with a show like Black Mirror, it's hard to gauge. The first two seasons — both of which aired on Britain's Channel 4 — included only three episodes, while the third and fourth — which shifted to Netflix — featured six. Release dates have generally fallen within the fall/winter, but given how large scale Black Mirror's production is, viewers will likely be looking at a 2019 premiere.

The series' fourth and most recent season debuted on December 29 and was one of its most star-packed to date, including performances from Jesse Plemmons, Jimmi Simpson, and Rosemarie Dewitt, plus a Jodie Foster-directed episode titled "Arkangel."
