Chart-topping artists Cee Lo Green, Chrisette Michele, Common, Marsha Ambrosius, Musiq Soulchild, Anthony Hamilton and Toni Braxton's sister, Tamar Braxton, have been added to the performers list for the 2011 Soul Train Awards. The aforementioned artists will sing tributes to the night's Legend Award honorees Earth, Wind & Fire and Gladys Knight.

In addition, pre-recorded video tributes by will.i.am, Elton John, the Roots, Smokey Robinson, Patti Labelle and Marie Osmond will be broadcast at the event. Meanwhile, Questlove of The Roots will reveal a new version of the Soul Train theme song.

As we previously reported, Chris Brown leads the pack of Soul Train nominees with five nods including Album of the Year for his latest LP, 'F.A.M.E.' Kanye West and Beyonce follow behind Breezy with four mentions a piece. Singers Robin Thicke, Jill Scott, Melanie Fiona, Joe and Lalah Hathaway are on tap to perform, as well.

Veteran funnyman Cedric 'The Entertainer" will host the 2011 Soul Train Awards, which is being taped on Nov. 17 in Atlanta, and will air on BET and Centric on Nov. 27 at 9PM EST.
