We all know that Cee Lo Green is a fantastic showman onstage, but who knew he could act, as well. 'The Voice' judge will try his hand as a thespian in a new indie movie starring opposite Wu-Tang Clan member Raekwon the Chef. The flick is called 'C.R.E.A.M.' (Cash Rules Everything Around Me), which is named after the group's 1993 classic get-money anthem of the same name.

Cee Lo has been tapped to play the Chef's father in the movie, which is a semi-biopic of the New York rapper's life. “Cee Lo is gon’ play Raekwon’s ol’ dad!" gushed Rae, adding, “[He’s] a good friend of mine, when I called him and told him about it he was just overwhelmed. He’s just one out of the greats that’s gonna be on the project."

Rae also hopes to cast Chuck Inglish of the Chicago rap duo the Cool Kids to play his younger self. “[Chuck], that’s my dude, good dude, but he’s still gotta go in for casting purposes to see if he really could make a debut in a great way,” he said.

No word on when the film will go into production but Raekwon insists that 'C.R.E.A.M.' is not a low-budget B-movie that will go straight-to-DVD. In fact, the Shoalin rhyme-spitter says that a couple of major studios express interest in the movie. “We’re definitely going for the theaters,” he says. "The people that are gonna be involved with it definitely feel like it’s a great picture, and there’s a definite possibility it’s a Lions Gate film."
