Fans of actor Darren Criss' may be sad to see his character, Blaine Anderson, go when Glee ends its six-season run on March 20, but it looks like Darren will be on to another role soon after. According to Entertainment Weekly, Darren is set to play Hedwig Robinson in the Broadway musical revival of Hedwig and the Angry Inch. He will star in a limited 12-week engagement, beginning on April 29, three days after John Cameron Mitchell -- who is currently playing the role of Hedwig -- is set to exit the production.

Darren is no stranger to Broadway. He made his debut starring as J. Pierrepont Finch in the play How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. His three week engagement in 2012 broke a record, earning the show over $4 million and becoming the most profitable three weeks the revival saw.

Of course, fans are also aware that Darren was first noticed while performing as Harry Potter in the shows put on by his musical theater company, StarKid Productions, called A Very Potter Musical, A Very Potter Sequel and A Very Potter Senior Year. You can check those out on their official YouTube channel here.

What do you guys think? Are you totally excited to see Darren play Hedwig on Broadway? Are you going to miss seeing him on your television screens every week? Have you booked a ticket to New York City already to fill that void in your heart? Think it over and let us know how you feel!
