Ellie Goulding Releases ‘Love Me Like You Do’ From the ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ Soundtrack [LISTEN]

Ellie Goulding and 'Fifty Shades of Grey'? This is an unbeatable combination, as proven in her new song, 'Love Me Like You Do,' off of the upcoming movie's soundtrack.

We've already heard some of the musical offerings from 'Fifty Shades' (namely, Beyonce's slowed-down, sultry remixes), but Ellie's contribution has us even more excited. The empowering song is definitely more upbeat than Bey's steamy tracks, but it subtly references the BDSM nature of the movie.

With lyrics like "You're the light, you're the night / You're the color of my blood / You're the cure, you're the pain / You're the only thing I wanna touch," Ellie dances around the topic without making the song too heavy. And, as a result, 'Love Me Like You Do' is totally amazing. It tells the story through Anastasia's eyes.

The song projects the cinematic quality present in so many of Ellie's songs, making this a perfect choice for the soundtrack. We have a feeling you'll be just as obsessed as we are.
