Fifth Harmony’s Ally Brooke Debuts Spanish-Language Song ‘Vámonos’ at Fusion Fest 2018
Ally Brooke premiered a Spanish-language track called "Vámonos" over the weekend.
The Fifth Harmony star gave audience members an earful of her new Latin-inspired pop tune at Liverpool's Fusion Festival Sunday (September 2) in the United Kingdom. "VAMANOS FUSION FEST!!!" the 25-year-old singer tweeted, along with footage from last night's showcase, which shows Brooke wearing a stylish black two-piece and knee-high boots as she sways and twerks to the song's up-tempo rhythm.
Watch some moments from the show below:
"Vamonos vamonos vamonos/ Pero a la cama, a la cama, a la cama no," she chants in the live footage as a giant production screen shift from flaming "Vamonos" displays to a colorful floral collage. Even from the upbeat record's short preview, it seems Brooke may already have her first bop on her hands.
"Omgggg I’m seeing all of your reactions, trends, EVERYTHING wow I’m overwhelmed!!!" the musician tweeted in response to the rave reception to the song has received. "I literally feel like I’m on a cloud I’m floating I’m so happy!!! Thank you so much everyone."
It's unclear if the red-hot record will serve as the artist's first single, but it's the newest we've heard since Variety confirmed she signed with Latium Entertainment/Atlantic Records last month.
“There are no words to describe how happy I am to be with Atlantic Records/Latium Artists. It is a real dream come true," Brooke told the outlet. "I am extremely thankful to have a label and team who fiercely believe in me and my vision. It is the greatest gift you can ask for as an artist. I can’t wait to share our art with the world!”
Since 5H announced their indefinite hiatus back in March, Brooke has made featured appearances on songs by artists like DJ Topic ("Perfect") and Lost Kings ("Look At Us Now").
