Back in the day, Janet Jackson had one of the most impeccably fit bodies in the music industry, but like most people as they get older, the youngest Jackson sibiling gained some weight... And not just a couple pounds either.

The 'Nasty' singer told Prevention Magazine that she had packed on so much extra weight in 2005, that she was at risk for a scary medical diagnosis. "Health was always a concern... My nutritionist was very worried. I was close to having diabetes," the pop superstar said. "Even when I lost it and then gained quite a bit back, there was always the thought of heart disease."

The singer has remained mum on exactly how much weight she lost, mostly because she refuses to step on a scale. What Jackson did admit was that she has quite the sweet tooth and plans to indulge in sugary treats, but in moderation. Good plan, JJ!
