Is This Joe Simpson’s Boyfriend?

When news broke that Jessica and Ashlee Simpson's parents Tina and Joe were divorcing after 34 years of marriage, it threw everyone for a curveball. But when allegations of Joe Simpson coming out as gay surfaced, and that he was rumored to be dating a 21-year-old model, things really got interesting.

Naturally, photos have surfaced of Papa Joe's supposed boyfriend, and it comes in the form of Bryce Chandler Hill, who's 33 years younger than Simpson.

A source said that Simpson and Hill were introduced by a mutual friend named TJ Espinoza, who is pals witj his famous daughters. "Joe Simpson being outed by the National Enquirer was no surprise to the gay community in Hollywood, Bryce has been bragging about hooking up with Joe for a while now,” said the source to RadarOnline. "Bryce is close to TJ Espinoza, who in turn is good friends with both Jessica and Ashlee and worked for Britney Spears as a back-up dancer."

"Bryce claims he’s been dating Joe for roughly a year and absolutely loves to boast about it because he loves being the center of attention. He’s also been quick to tell anyone that will listen that he’s using Joe to climb the showbiz ladder," continued the source. "Bryce is desperate to become famous, he’s done lots of modeling shoots and wants to become an actor. When he met Joe, he knew what a good job he had done in managing Jessica and Ashlee’s careers and wanted a piece of the pie himself."

If the rumors are indeed true, then Papa Joe better watch his back, because the source also made sure to mention that Hill doesn't feel strongly for Simpson as Simpson does him, and is simply using him for the fame.

But no one was more shocked than the Simpson girls themselves; but Jessica and Ashlee are "shocked" and "reeling" from the news and haven't had the easiest time digesting it.

“Jessica had absolutely no clue that her father was gay, not even the slightest inkling,” the source told Radar. “She thinks she has very good gaydar, especially since a lot of her friends are gay, but she did not see this coming at all," said an insider. “It was a complete shock to the system, she feels terribly for her mom who was left reeling by the announcement, and her sister Ashlee has also taken the news quite badly."

“Jessica’s been trying to process the information slowly, but she’s having difficulty dealing with it. She can’t understand why Joe stayed married to Tina for so long, and can't help wondering how much of their life was a lie,” continued the insider.

In any case, we wish the best for the Simpson family during what's got to be a pretty difficult time for everyone involved.
