Joey McIntyre is making the holidays a bit merrier. The NKOTBSB singer will release a Christmas album.

"I've always known I would record a Christmas album,” the New Kids on the Block crooner said in a press release. “These wonderful standards have a warm special place in my heart. I have enjoyed singing them on so many snowy walks through my childhood hometown of Boston and they have soothed my homesickness out in Hollywood during the holidays.” Sounds so cozy!

McIntyre put his own pop spin on the Christmas classics, including a few duets. McIntyre is joined by funny man Mario Cantone on 'Baby, It’s Cold Outside,' while 'Peace On Earth' features "good friend and mentor" -- and fellow New Kid -- Jordan Knight.

The sweetest songs have close ties with the singer himself. One is McIntyre's rendition of 'Do You Hear What I Hear?' which features his sister, Carol Gallagher, "with whom I sang my first-ever song on stage when I was six-years-old," McIntyre said. The other is a duet with his son, Griffin, on a cover of 'Christmas Don't Be Late' -- originally performed by none other than Alvin and the Chipmunks! Ready? Awwwwwww.

The album, 'Come Home for Christmas,' will be released on iTunes on Nov. 29 just in time for the holiday season.
