Kanye West’s Lawyer Confirms Sex Tape
Kanye West's lawyer confirmed the existence of a sex tape featuring the rapper, via a takedown notice sent to AllHipHop.com which claimed the video was stolen from Kanye's computer.
His attorney, Lisa M. Buckley of Pryor Cashman, ordered the site to remove images it had published from the video. She wrote, "Be advised that the Screen Shot, as well as the Tape from which the Screen Shot was taken, were illegally obtained and believed to have been stolen from Mr. West’s computer. Your posting, advertising, marketing, displaying and otherwise disseminating the stolen Screen Shot and/or other materials on the Tape constitute actionable violations of Mr. West’s rights of privacy and publicity."
TMZ, meanwhile, is reporting that there are two Kanye sex tapes in existence, both of which are being shopped to the highest bidders. The gossip site says the tapes are nearly identical, except that while the first is 20 minutes long, the second goes on for 40 minutes. In what might be TMI, the site adds, "And we're talking constant action. Seriously, the guy takes no breaks. It's incredible."
TMZ claims the vids were shot years ago, which contradicts the earlier rumors that West had filmed one of the tapes in recent months, just before getting back together with Kim Kardashian.
Whether the tapes surface remains to be seen, but the website sex.com has just upped its offer from $1 million to $5 million for the exclusive distribution rights to both videos, which it would package in an online and DVD release.
